It seems to be happen almost every day - you hear about a new result of medical research on television or read about it in the paper. Sometimes the results of one study seem to disagree with the research results of another study. It's important to be critical when reading or listening to reports of new medical findings.
The Medical research section of Consult4care is one of the most innovative biomedical research organizations in the world. Our Institute conducts basic research on genes and proteins that control fundamental processes in living cells to unlock the mysteries of disease and find the keys to their causes, treatment, and prevention.
Consult4care research into curing major human diseases has received a significant boost as The Australian National University's School of Medical Research , was named recipient of the $1 million Ramaciotti Research Award at a ceremony held in Melbourne .
The Consult4care of Medical Research will devote the funding to establish the Ramaciotti Immunisation Genomics Laboratory which will research genetic issues around vaccines for diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, as well as cancer, auto-immune diseases and heart disease.
Our Professor, head of research and genetics at Consult4care said he was delighted to accept the prestigious Ramaciotti Research Award on behalf of the facility. He was also joined at the ceremony by post-doctoral fellow Dr Anselm Enders who will be in charge of the new laboratory." The Ramaciotti Laboratory will enable major landmark discoveries by providing an unprecedented Australian opportunity to uncover the genes, cells and biological mechanisms governing immunisation responses," said Professor.
We promote and enhance biomedical and biological research, including the human care and use of animals, for the improved health and well-being of people, animals, and the environment. The goal of Consult4care is to foster a better understanding of biomedicine by improving basic literacy in and enthusiasm for the biological sciences among the public, the media, and future generations.
Although we are a member of research or scientist organization, and membership services are of utmost importance, a great part of our work is directed to the public in general.
Medical education is necessarily a major component in the pursuit of our mission of medical research. We teach students, we train teachers, we develop curricula that increase science literacy and promote understanding of the importance of veterinary research and biomedical research to our lives. The field of medical research of science continues to expand dramatically with each new discovery and technical innovation. This wide diversity of fundamental processes for research efforts makes it impossible to compile a comprehensive list of research projects or positions available to medical scientists with advanced degrees. One source of information is the Graduate Medical Education Directory (the "Green Book"), published by a american association. This publication lists all U.S. residency programs approved by the Accreditation council for graduate medical education in each recognized medical specialty. The Green Book is available at most medical schools and undergraduate college libraries or may be obtained directly from the Institute. |
